Tamed Flower

Of all the tamed flowers of pleasure
entreating the sun to rise.
There's one that bemocks the very field
from which it resides. 

The sweet aroma, a tempest,
wherein the unenlightened souls tread and die.
How can I handle one as such?

The full colors a danger.
A warning sign ignored.
I must stay away but it inflames
the passion once cured.

Surrounded by the essence
of a mesmerizing potion.
I come closer and closer.
I must taste the nectar, until heaven.

Have I pleased the tamed flower?
Or will the thorns ridicule me?
